How to Create a State of Flow

Isn’t it wonderful to feel that everything is in “FLOW”.  Having the sense of you being able to accomplish just about anything. Everything is working according to plan, no challenge is too big and you are closer to your goals than ever. That kind of flow creates a lot of energy and joy and you become more relaxed and effective.

Flow might happen by chance but you can create good flow for yourself through mental training. Here are four simple tips.

How high can you fly?
Are you setting goals that are so low they almost feel pointless? Or are you setting goals that are so high that they are almost impossible to reach? Flow and goals are closely linked and it’s important setting goals that are neither too easy nor too difficult for you to reach.

Many choose to remain in their comfort zone, the “I know what I have” mentality, while others are aiming so high that they have to give up before they’re even halfway. A good idea is to push yourself just a little higher and think a little bolder than you originally intended. Once that process has begun, it will not take long until you dare taking it even further. How to Optimize Your Networking at Conferences

Conferences and workshops are great places to meet the right people and start new business relationships. Here are some tips to help you connect with others at a business event. Networking today could mean business opportunities tomorrow.

Pre-conference preparation
1. Have a plan. People you want to meet (directly or the type of people), speakers you want to hear, and the exhibition stands you want to visit.

2. Blog or tweet about the fact that you’re going. Blog about the sessions you’re planning to attend. Find out the Twitter tag for the conference. Look up the speakers and some of the other participants’ blogs.

3. Set appointments in advance. If you know that there will be people attending whom you know that you would like to see, call or email a few weeks in advance to schedule a time to meet for coffee, a meal, or a drink.  Read More→
